“Aapla Parivar Aapli Sanstha” means The Dharampeth Mahila Multistate Co-operative Society Ltd. The Society was established in 1994. The society initially, started with 40 Mahila having Bhisi, grew steadily over the last 18 years and has been showing profits since its inception. The institution has present network of 24 branches .
The Society has planned to increase the branch network up to 40 branches upto March 2015. The Society is now of Multi State Status having branches in Maharashtra , Chhattisgarh and Madya Pradesh and will soon expand the network of branches Gujrat and Rajsthan. The society is fully computerized at all branches and is planning to switch to Core Banking Software very shortly thereby extending the facilities of interconnectivity among all branches.
The society has been awarded “A” Grade status in Audit since its inception and ISO: 9001-2008 Certification is granted by TUV SUD South Asia. On Assets front, the institution proudly owns 9 office premises valuing more than 25 crores.
The salient feature of the Society is that it is run only by ‘Mahila’ (Ladies). The board of directors includes all Lady Directors headed by Mrs. Sarika Pendse who is well known personality in social activities. The Vice-President Mrs. Nilima Bawane is most active in Co-Operative sector.
She has been awarded “Vikas Ratna Gold Award 2006” & “Virangana Savitribai Phule Award”by the Economic and Human Resource Development Association, Delhi for her active role in bringing the Mahila Urban No. 1 institution in Mahila urban cooperative societies.
She is Director on Maharashtra State Co-operative Federation Ltd., Pune. She is awarded “Indira Gandhi Shiromani Award”by Global Achievers Foundation, New Delhi. She is an active member in “Sahakar Bharti” at vidharbha level.
She has a track record of active participation in Lions Club Heritage & active worker for welfare of women under Lokmat Sakhi Manch group. She is always working for upliftment of the womens in rural area through Mahila Bachat Gat.
